Young Adults Agricultural & housing project:
Interested in adopting and naming one of our many sheep? This will help us build stage two of Casa Segura. After 15 years, so many of our young kids have grown up into amazing young adults, their education is important to the dream and vision of Casa Segura. Behind Casa Segura stage 1, we have 10 hectares of vacant land, so here we have made plans to build new housing for these young adults. This stage will be available to those who are studying or working locally, and for those who are not ready to leave home, and don't yet have and dream or vision for their future. Here our young adults will prepared and get the chance to learn construction & agronomy, and also guided into a career in which will help them follow their own personal dreams. Stage two will also help our existing home for the younger kids, by becoming more self sufficient. Stage two once functioning, will be where our young adults that grew up here and graduated school, or are transitioning to either university or a trade, the opportunity to stay at home. This will give them the safe environment that they need. A place where they will be prepared for the future, without the fear of facing life alone, or been forced back into a life of poverty, simply because they're not ready. A safe home is crucial for a young adult, and with stage two, Casa Segura will continue to be a safe haven for all that have grown up here, until they are ready to face the world head on.
